Benefits of belonging

NZHHA members are committed to meeting high industry standards and to working collectively to strengthen the home health sector. Members may use the NZHHA logo.

The benefits of membership include:

  • use of the NZHHA logo
  • recognition that you demonstrate a commitment to professional standards
  • regular information about the industry
  • discounted rates for conference and other NZHHA events
  • listing on the NZHHA website and in the NZHHA directory
  • identification with the government-recognised home health voice
  • identification in related publications  and websites such as NZ Retirement Guide, Eldernet etc
  • membership of and participation in the organisation recognised by government as the voice of the home health sector.

How to join or renew your membership

From 1 July 2011 the NZHHA has the following classes of membership open:

  • Full Provider Membership: this is for provider organisations who are certificated to the Home and Community Support Sector Standard (NZS 8158:2003).
  • Associate Membership: this is for provider organisations who are not certificated to the Home and Community Support Sector Standard.  Please note that this category of membership will be open only until 30 June 2012.  From that point, only providers who are certificated to NZS 8158:2003) can be members of the Association.
  • Affiliate membership for organisations or individuals with an interest in home health but who do not provide home health services.
